Our story
About BrookCore Content
A London practice devoted to reading product-page attention maps and turning them into layout notes teams can use.
BrookCore Content Ltd is the official registered business name of our practice. We were established in 2018 in London after two former retail analytics leads grew tired of handing clients raw overlay screenshots with no narrative.
Brief history
In the early years we worked almost exclusively with mid-size fashion and outdoor brands who needed product page heat-map insight reporting ahead of seasonal relaunches. By 2021 the brief had widened to homewares and specialty goods, always with the same promise: overlays annotated in plain language, delivered as a report you can open in a merchandising meeting.
Today the company still operates from our London office, serving clients across Great Britain on remote briefings with occasional on-site workshops when a wider stakeholder group needs the walkthrough in one room.
How we approach the work
We treat heat maps as evidence of behaviour on a specific page, not as a scoreboard. Collection windows are agreed up front. Annotations call out cold zones, fold-line fades, and CTA friction. Recommendations stay tied to modules you can actually move — gallery, price stack, size guide, reviews, sticky bars.
People
Reports are prepared by analysts who have sat in ecommerce critique rooms and know the difference between a noisy overlay and a usable finding. Client briefing calls are led by the same people who write the PDF — you are not handed off to a separate account layer.
Values we keep visible
- Prefer concrete page observations over vague “engagement” talk
- State sample limits and device mix clearly in every report
- Refuse decorative charts that do not change a layout decision
